Privacy Policy

Kommentum ("we", "us") is a product of Velnique Technologies Pvt Ltd (incorporation in progress, India). This policy explains what data Kommentum collects, why, and what control you have. Contact: hello@kommentum.com.
1. What Kommentum does
Kommentum automatically replies to comments on the social media accounts that you connect (YouTube, Instagram and Facebook), based on rules you set, and can send a private message to a person who commented on your post, where the platform allows it.
2. Data we collect
- Account data: your name and email address when you sign up or join the waitlist.
- Connected account data: when you connect an account through the platform's official login (Google OAuth or Meta Login), we receive an access token and basic profile information (account ID, username, channel or page name). We never receive or store your password.
- Comment data: the text, ID, time and public author name of comments on your posts, so that we can match your rules and reply. We store only what is needed to avoid replying twice and to show you your statistics.
- Messages we send for you: the replies and private messages Kommentum sends on your behalf, with their time and status.
- Usage data: basic technical logs (errors, timestamps) to keep the service running.
3. How we use it
- To read new comments on your connected accounts and send the replies you configured.
- To show you statistics such as comments, replies and link clicks per video.
- To provide support, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.
We do not sell your data or the data of people who comment on your posts, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not use it to train AI models for anyone other than you. If you turn on AI replies, your own captions and video text are used only to write replies for your account.
4. Platform data and policies
Kommentum uses the YouTube API Services and the Meta (Instagram and Facebook) Platform. By connecting YouTube you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google's handling of your data is described in the Google Privacy Policy. Kommentum's use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. You can revoke Kommentum's access to your Google account at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions, and to your Meta accounts in your Instagram or Facebook settings under "Apps and websites".
5. Sharing
We share data only with service providers that help us run Kommentum (for example cloud hosting and email), under contracts that require them to protect it, and when required by law.
6. Storage and security
Access tokens are stored encrypted and are used only to perform the actions you configured. We keep comment and reply records for as long as your account is active, and logs for up to 90 days.
7. Your rights and deletion
You can disconnect an account, export your data or ask us to delete it at any time. See our Data Deletion page, or email hello@kommentum.com. We complete deletion requests within 30 days.
8. Children
Kommentum is not intended for anyone under 18.
9. Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date above and, for important changes, tell you by email.
